with the peaceful and green Nepal, and the vibrancy of the Gangetic
plains, this tour will bring you the unique opportunity of experiencing
the charm and the diversity of India.
Day
1: Receive at Mumbai. Help and assist. Check in at hotel.
Evening excursion to Elephanta Caves. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day
2: Early morning flight to Udaipur. Check in at hotel.
After breakfast, full day sightseeing of Udaipur. Visiting city
Palace, Jagdish Temple, Sahelion ki Bari and Fateh Sagar Lake.
Day
3: Drive to Pushkar, the pilgrimage city with one and
only Brahma Temple. After lunch, visit to Brahma Temple and colorful
streets of Pushkar.
Day
4: Early morning visit to the Holy Lake. Lunch. Drive to Jaipur.
Day 5: After breakfast, we drive outside
the city to the rugged hills that surround Jaipur city to
see Amber Fort. A painted elephant will take you up to the fort
with its huge gate ways and pillared pavilions. Afternoon sightseeing
of the city visiting Jantar Mantar, City Palace, Hawa Mahal. Overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 6: Drive to Agra.
Enroute Fatehpur Sikri, the ancient capital of Mughal Empire.
Day
7: Morning at Taj. The famous monument was constructed by
emperor Shahjahan in memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal, "The
Lady of Taj". Lunch. Visit to Fort and Bazaar.
Day 8: Drive to Orchha,
a small village set among a complex of well preserved temples and
palaces, located on the banks of Betwa River.
Day 9: Half day in Orchha,
visiting temples and palaces. Lunch. Drive to Khajuraho.
Day 10: Breakfast, full day
in Khajuraho visiting eastern and western group of temples
which are superb examples of Indo-Aryan architecture of over 1000
years old.
Day
11: Morning free. Afternoon flight to Varanasi. Check
in at hotel. Evening at Holy Ganges.
Day 12: At sunrise, boat ride
on River Ganges. Afternoon flight to the Himalayan Kingdom and reach
Kathmandu valley. Day left free for leisure.
Day 13: After breakfast, sightseeing
tour of Durbar Square of Kathmandu and Patan with pulsating
local lifestyle around them. Evening free for shopping in the busy
Thamel market.
Day
14: Option of excursion to Dakshinkali temple (place of animal
sacrifices) or Kirtipur or Buddhist temple of Swayambhunath
or Changunarayan temple. Later, also visit the cremation ghats by
the river Bhagmati behind the enormous Pashupatinath temple.
Day
15: Drive to Royal Chitwan National Park, a huge virgin
jungle in the fertile terrain area of Himalayan foothills having
a sizeable population of rhino and tigers. Stay in jungle camp.
Explore Park on elephant back. Evening camp fire and exotic dinner.
Day 16: Visit the park. Also
enjoy canoe ride over Narayani River, a leisurely way to appreciate
the wildlife especially the Mugger.
Day 17: Drive to Pokhara,
skyline dominated by breathtaking Annapurna range, crowned by the
Fishtail peak. The reflection of range in Phewa Lake is a mesmerizing
sight. Leisurely stay watching mountains at Pokhara. Day completely
at leisure.
Day
18: Day to be used enjoying the perfect natural beauty of
Pokhara and more than 8000 snowy peaks that are visible from
here on a clear day.
Day 19: Fly back to Kathmandu
and from there take a flight to Delhi or Mumbai. Your package end
on this day.
